At Sverige Afrikansk Grå Papegoja, customer satisfaction and the health of our parrots are our top priorities. We ensure that every African Grey Parrot is vet-checked, socialized, and delivered in excellent health. However, we understand that unexpected situations may occur, and we have created the following Refund and Returns Policy to address those concerns.


2. No Refunds for Buyer’s Remorse

Due to the sensitive nature of live animals, we do not offer refunds or returns simply for a change of mind or personal circumstances. Please be certain before making your purchase, as parrots are lifelong companions that require time, care, and commitment.


3. Health Guarantee & Replacements

We provide a 72-hour health guarantee after delivery. If your parrot shows signs of illness or distress within this period, you must:

If the issue is verified and determined to have originated before delivery, we will offer a replacement bird of equal value or, in rare cases, a partial refund. Shipping fees are non-refundable.


4. Returns Are Not Accepted After 72 Hours

We do not accept any returns beyond 72 hours of confirmed delivery, as we cannot control the environment or treatment the bird has received once in your care.


5. Death During Transit

In the unlikely event your parrot is harmed or dies during shipping:

  • You must document the issue immediately upon arrival (photo/video evidence required)

  • We will review the case and, if verified, provide a replacement parrot at no additional cost (excluding shipping)

All birds are shipped in secure, climate-controlled containers and handled by certified animal transport professionals.


6. Cancellations Before Shipping

If you request a cancellation before the bird is shipped, we may offer a partial refund (less administrative and holding costs), depending on the situation. Deposits are generally non-refundable as they secure the bird and remove it from the market.
